The Big Dipper W-250-IS Automatic Grease Removal Device is rated to the PDI-G 101, and ASME A112.14.3 and A112.14.4 standards and is capable of accepting up to a 25 GPM (1.58 l/s) flow while holding more than 56.4 lbs. (25.6 kg) of grease. The centre module which comes with digital time control, heater assembly, and mechanized skimming assembly, automatically isolates trapped grease into grease collector for easy disposal.

Advanced odour protection prevents odours from escaping through the lid of the big dipper but does not prevent odours related to the rest of the plumbing system including but not limited to: open floor drains, air gaps, external solids straining devices, improper venting, and odours generated elsewhere in the plumbing system.
